Christianity in the Third Reich

I was hoping you could speak on the state of Christianity in the Third Reich. Growing up I was fed the line that the Confessing church was full of good guys who stood against German Christians. Over the past several years it has become obvious to me that the Confessing Church was full of men who were less then orthodox (I am aware of the issues with men like Bonhoeffer but I was surprised to find that Sasse was weak on the issues of the young earth). I have started reading the book on Positive Christianity put out by Sacra Press, but I have not gotten very far yet. Ultimately my question is were there any orthodox teachers in Germany during the 1930s and 1940s?
