Environmental Discernment

I believe that you have mentioned that the left stole the issue of the environment from the right, but that whenever they try to help the environment they always end up making things worse. I was wondering if you could expound on this point. Do you believe the left may also be using environmental issues for political purposes? For example, I believe the left is using the notion of man-made global warming as a massive wealth transfer and a way to hurt White people economically.
At least for me, a less clear-cut (no pun intended) example is microplastics. There have been several “studies” claiming that humans ingest microplastics from the environment, which cause health damage. Other studies have recently shown that these original studies likely contained several false-positives. Is there any harm in taking precautions (e.g., using wooden cutting boards) in light of such studies? How are we to discern which environmental issues are legitimate and/or which ones are used by the left for political purposes?
