Roman Catholic to Lutheran Qualms

Hello, Corey. I am Roman Catholic, and my boyfriend is LCMS Lutheran. We intend on getting married, and I am somewhat alright with becoming Lutheran, because I feel as though I am submitting to my future husband, and after hearing your episode on the Lord’s Supper and having my boyfriend explain Lutheranism, it makes more sense to me. I am scared of becoming Lutheran, however, because when I converted to the Catholic Church, I confessed that it was the one true church. I am afraid that converting to Lutheranism would mean I am breaking a confession I made to God. It doesn’t help that I am being told by Catholics in my church that I will go to hell if I convert. What reassurance do I have that I will not go to hell for converting, and that I am not wrong in leaving the one true church (as it is believed to be)?
